1-Year Limited Warranty
GoodWalk Collars & Leashes are made with authentic BioThane® and all our products are designed and built with durability in mind.
In rare cases, hardware may need to be replaced or repaired. We are happy to offer a 1-year warranty that covers any issues with hardware.
Here is what would be covered:
-snaps stop working or breaks
-d-rings, o-rings or rivets break
-stitching that loosens or breaks
-HVT peeling, or chipping
Our warranty does not cover any damage caused by everyday wear or misuse.
What is NOT covered includes:
-damaged caused by improper use of collars, leashes and other accessories
-damaged caused by use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning methods
-damaged caused by chewing, biting, scratching, pulling etc.
-damage cause by disassembling, cutting or adjusting the product
-normal wear and tear including chipping or scratching of hardware and staining
-finishes on metal wearing-off. Hardware that is black, nickel-plated or rose gold is powder coated, so it is perfectly normal for it to scratch over time. This is completely normal and will not be covered under warranty
-oxidization and tarnish markings
-color changes due to aging, sun, water, cleaning chemicals or other elements
Please CONTACT US with any issues and concerns. We are more than happy to help. Good quality, clear photos are required of the product in question.
Broken hardware will be replaced free of charge. All required shipping for products to be repaired is at the buyer's expense.
This warranty allows for a one time replacement per customer, subject to the company's sole discretion.
Return Policy
We want you to love your gear. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
✔️ Returns
We accept returns or exchanges on unused, non-custom items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in new, unwashed, and hair-free condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error on our part.
All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on:
- Custom or personalized gear (e.g. engraved nameplates, custom sizing or color combos)
- Sale or clearance items
- Used or worn gear
🔁 How to Start a Return
Contact us using the Contact Page with your order number and reason for return. We’ll respond within 1-2 business days with next steps and a return authorization, if eligible.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method minus the 20% restocking fee. Please allow up to 5 business days after receipt for processing.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
